The collection was inspired by a captivating visit to the Hunterian Museum and exploring the idea of body dimorphia. After further research, the idea of ‘interruption’ became apparent. This idea of interruption was then translated into the collection through the aim to illustrate the beauty side of imperfection. Fabrics were deliberately chosen to contrast with each other and show the correlation between muscle manipulation and bones breaking down whilst control panels became design features to interrupt the drape and suggest things ‘going wrong’.
