This collection is based on one woman during the time of WW2: the silence she is surrounded by and the feeling of not being seen. Winter has arrived, she can see scars from the war on the ground outside, scars that can never be forgotten, and the snow covers up the ground with the clean white innocence. The dream of an escape is her hope. The collection is dark but with different textured fabrics it explores the woman’s mind. The shapes and cuts are reflecting Russia and her escape. The fabrics reveal the Russian style with a glimpse of fragility from the mind and the escape.
