I am interested in the parallels between fashion and architecture and the focus of production rather than the finished product itself. Inspired by the ‘Inside Out’ building by architect Richard Rogers, visible seam finishings and outside pocket bags drive this narrative forward in my final collection. The structured outer shell of the building is there to protect the more vulnerable inside. X-ray prints show what is hidden beneath the surface, as well as blueprints cleverly engineered to create visual interest: the process of creating something is an art in itself.
