On the 8th May 2013, 3rd year Fashion Design students showed their final collections alongside Fashion Atelier and Fashion Textiles: Print students in Christ Church Spitalfields in East-London. First fear students were invited to work with the iconic high street brand, Warehouse. The Senior Jersey designer from the brand introduced four trends – Flounce, NYC Grunge, Masai & Binary – and the assignment was to build an individual but appropriate concept to design a range of garments based on the trends.
Alex Mattsson is a menswear designer with his own label based in London. Alex’s inspiration is derived from a variety of sources ranging from technology, science fiction, ancient civilizations and the differences in cultures. His experimental and contemporary approach to menswear design is a rejuvenating change.
