You will need to bring your portfolio which should show visual evidence of a range of relevant skills. You need to make sure that your portfolio is well presented and logically organised demonstrating your ability to develop a project or idea. We like to see:
- exploration of drawing techniques
- colour, experimentation with a variety of media
- attention to presentation
- annotated sketchbook work and personal development is always welcomed
- evidence of at least one fashion design project – from moodboard through to design development
- at interview we like to see a real passion for the subject and expect students to demonstrate this
Above all, know your work and be prepared to discuss the ideas, which you have developed within your portfolio.
